Description

The RCMAP Weekly Herbaceous and Exotic Annual Grass (EAG) dataset provides 30-meter estimates of percent cover for eight herbaceous and grass components across western North America. Weekly products are available from 2016 to present and include total herbaceous, green herbaceous, senesced herbaceous, combined EAG, cheatgrass, medusahead, field brome, and Sandberg's bluegrass cover. The finer temporal resolution supports land-management decisions related to invasive grasses, fire, grazing, and treatment effectiveness.
