NOAA AVHRR - 4km - Daily¶

Description¶
NOAA's Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) provides long-term, high-resolution (1.1 km to 4 km) sea surface temperature (SST) data by measuring infrared radiation from NOAA and MetOp polar-orbiting satellites. These daily, day-night composite datasets are used for climate monitoring, with records dating back decades, including the 4km Pathfinder dataset.
